Another calming day at camp. The warriors and apprentices had returned from their training, most of them still sopping wet from being in the river. A bunch of the returning cats chatted excitedly about their adventures in the river, others complained about their fur needing a good cleaning.
While they had been out, the Queens had finished rebuilding the Nursery, and the kits played excitedly in the middle of camp. Barleyleap and her new kits were sleeping soundly, and despite the passing of Seedkit and Silversoul to whitecough, the Clan was healthy and well-fed. Leaf-Fall was here, the leaves of the abundant trees in MoonClan forest had begun to shed, leaving the trees bare, and sunlight shone through the newly cleared sky. Leaves crunched underpaw, and a few of the kits had turned it into a game.
Patchstar lay comfortably on top of the soft moss covering the Moss Rock, bathing in the sun. The warmth of the newly freed rays enveloped her thicker fur, and the wind died enough to allow t
Wolf's last howl"You'll scare off all the young'uns if you keep that up!" Wolfscar meowed, his voice harsh as he addressed Trapjaw. The story of a blind she-cat named Nutmeg had obviously frightened more than just one of the tiny kittens gathered at the Elders' feet.Wolf's last howlin Warriors

"Here, kids. I'll tell you a fun story. Do you want to hear about the time that I first joined the Clans?"
The kittens nodded, some still shaking from the earlier story.

"Why do you do that?" Charlie asked, his powerful muscles rippling under his firey pelt as he padded up to the other two cats.
Wolfie's hindleg paused mid-scratch. "

She shivered slightly, and twitched her whiskers curiously; she must be getting old, the cold never bothered her this much before.Assignment 15 -- A New Season

Nonetheless, she jumped up onto the Moss Rock and let out a familiar call, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey come meet here beneath the Moss Rock for a Clan meeting!"
Waiting patiently for her Clan to gather, Patchstar fluffed up her coat, climbing back down to the bottom of the Moss Rock. Five cats sat in front of her, looking pristine and well-groomed: Spiderpaw, Burningpaw, Waterpaw, Smokepaw and her brother Boulderpaw.
"I have talked to each of your mentors. You have trained well, and we all agree that each of you are ready to receive your warrior names and be welcomed as full warriors of MoonClan."
The apprentices looked at each other excitedly, Boulderpaw smiled at Runningbreeze, Spiderpaw grin
