Patchpaw lunged, her claws scraping up colorful fallen leaves as she jumped. The mouse squeaked as it realized what was coming for it. Patchpaw landed on top of it, her claws forming a cage around the rodent. With a swift bite to the neck, the mouse went limp.

The rain fell heavily as an umbreon ran swiftly over the wet grass. The black pokemon panted heavily and the rain began to subside ever so slightly. The umbreon could still hear the heavy footsteps crushing the delicate grass and squishing through the mud.
The umbreon found a spot of tall grass. He crouched down low; he was sure that he wouldnt be seen. His sleek, rain-covered pelt blended in perfectly with the dark night sky and the shadowed ground. Except his glowing yellow rings, which glowed brightly in the cloud-filled night.

Espeon slowly opened her soft violet-colored eyes. She let out an immense yawn and stood up, stretching out her muscles. She sat upright and looked around at her familiar surroundings.
